Hello B Irish…. It is 14 May 2024, at almost 2 am. 😬 We are still in Lubbock, TX, I finally made the decision to stay until Sunday Morning, I could have made an excuse, however, I was getting the vibes from Tara that this was not the correct decision to make so I told your woman Annie 🤡 that we would leave Sunday. She said, if we make it that long. I said, look, Lady, I am getting the vibes that we gotta stay, so we are staying, if you want to go home call Mark, oh Evil Bro #2 😈, to come and get you. This did not go over well, she said, you know I cannot ask him to do that and it is a long way to get here. At this point I am irritated and on my way to mad, which is always the danger zone with me, so I said, look, we do almost every single thing on your time which I never question. I am asking for 2 more full days without grief for me to be here when I feel like it is the right thing to do AND I have reasons for feeling that way. I went to my room, well AB’s room, but you get it. She seemed okay when I came out 3 hours later. 😬 I mean let’s face it, at this point she and I are basically attached and unless Mark meets me to take her somewhere for the weekend, we both have to be open to what the other wants to do. She has taken several steps back, she was once more independent, more decisive, remembered things, at this was not that long ago. There has been a swift change with your woman Annie 🤡 and I am in this for the duration at this point. No options, no outs. Which sounds bad I know but it is reality and reality ain’t always easy or filled with options. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Anywho, we did some shopping yesterday, went to Bath and Body Works, got some smell good stuff, went to this gigantic place called Drug Emporium, which I know sounds crazy, but they had all kinds of stuff in that place, it is kinda hard to describe. 🤷🏼‍♀️ For the week your woman Annie 🤡 and I aren’t doing much, everybody is at work. We are cooking Wednesday night and I am not sure about the rest of the nights, I need to look at the schedule, yes I have a schedule from Tara, where to be and when and when to do things like cook? She will organize you and everything you do if you don’t put up a little resistance?! 😂 We are T minus 4 flipping days until my birthday. 🥳 🎂 🧁 We are suppose to be celebrating every single day in May but I dont think that is happening. 😬 I protest this with a sign! 🪧 and another 🪧 and another 🪧! I already know I am having problems with makeup cause the first time any of it touches me face my nose starts running and my eyes watering, I cannot touch my eyes when wearing it cause my eye lashes and mascara are wet from my eyes watering, it is a balancing act I avoid when I can. 😬 I mean this ain’t exactly a crisis, but it kinda sorta is, me face hurts?!?! And looks bad! 😬 Ain’t finding no dude out here with half my face being all peeling and gross. Dramatic, who doesn't like dramatic. When he gets to the chorus, "Nahhhhhhhhh, bont la shas a bull" (hah, what I'm hearing, don't know the words) BUT... THAT part grabs your heart. All of the performers are very, very modestly dressed, not that ballet 🩰 is all that risqué, but I guess some of it could be? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I gotta wear a dress which I am zero happy about, do I have dresses, yes, do I have shoes to go with them, also yes, do I like wearing them? Heck to the no way?!?! 😬 But here we all are?!?! Again?!?! 😬 Sunday is Mother’s Day, which is always interesting when the four Gens are together, last year AB was upset she was the only one in our group that wasn’t a mother? And announced she was gonna have 4 kids which honestly made me and Tara sweat 😅 just a little?!?! It made your woman Annie 🤡 laugh, she was like, I am still having great grandbabies at the same time as great great grandbabies, it is confusing, don’t come crying to me?!?! 😬 So then less than a week later is my birthday 🥳, I have always made it very clear that these are separate events so unless I am getting a big and huge combined big gift I expect separate gifts?!?! That kinda sorta sounds bad but listen you gotta state out loud your expectations or peeps will try to get by with stuff?!?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am quite certain I will have lots of stories to tell?!?! The good news is that I am sleeping in AB’s room and your woman Annie 🤡 is sleeping in the guest room with the dogs. A large reason these visits have had problems is that Annie 🤡 slept in the couch and never really had privacy. Now we both have privacy and AB is sleeping in her parents room on an air mattress. Tara said, I might stick her in the bed with Rafa and I will sleep on the air mattress. 😂 So if we are leaving in a few hours why am I awake at 4 am? 😬 Welllll, I was so sleepy at 10 pm but tried to stay awake until midnight but the next thing I know it is 3:45 am. 😬 Sooooo, I am writing this and then I am gonna try to sleep some more otherwise I will need to get us through the complicated driving parts until your woman Annie 🤡 is at the long stretch with zero decisions and can drive while I doze. 😬 I guess that is it?!?! I mean I am not a ballet 🩰 expert, not even close, but she should have been a premiere ballerina 🩰 in this thing, at least in my eyes. 👀 She was on stage for all of 2 mins, not even a full song?!?! That deserved a protest sign 🪧 so here. 🪧 This entire production was called “Inheritance” and I was doing a fine job of following along until, wellllll, I sorta had a dumb blonde moment. 😬 we went through Abraham, Joseph, someone else, King David and then this voice came on and said, there was one better than King David and I was like, isn’t David the one that did the whole watching the woman bathe on the rooftop and had her husband killed thing, but he was still a big deal but who could be better?!?! 🤔 Then I saw the cross and I felt so dumb and I was like JESUS (sorry shouty.) I texted the Evil 😈 Bros this and #1 said, well it was a whole lot of years between David and Jesus. I was like, thanks for making me feel better Mr. History Expert. 😬 So after we get home Tara tells us that the boy in AB’s ballet 🩰 class tells her he loves her. I was like, good grief, how many is that AB….she said, well, 3 boys from my school class and now him. I pretended I was passing out while yelling I need CPR, AB doesn’t fall for this and said, Nannie T you are SO silly. Right. 😬 So Rafa doesn’t even remember the one boy in her ballet class which rubbed Tara the wrong way and they get into a discussion about him not paying attention but she was already mad at him for this dumb joke he said outside of the theater, and I wanted to escape to my room. 😬 I was like, back to the point of this boy saying he loves her. 😬 And we are staying through my birthday which is THIS NEXT SATURDAY AND THIS IS BASICALLY a T minus 6 day warning for the likes of you! That sound you struggle to identify is that of a Jew's harp, also called a mouth harp sometimes but not to be confused with a harmonica, also called a harp. No one knows why it's called a Jew's harp. I had always assumed it to be a corruption of "jaw harp," another name for it, but then I read that "Jew's" is attested some 300 years before "jaw." Who knows?
